And as for Madeline's other long-running item she calls 'Women of the Century', how come "great women" are all busybody housewives, not a literary, scientific or artistic giant amongst them? Bringing out cups o' tay to the rebels or sods of turf to the poor of Dublin makes you a "great woman"?
